A videotape leads police to the man who brutally beat a 2-year-old boy. It was all caught on tape in a Detroit convenience store. Surveillance video shows the man hitting, kicking and stepping on the child. He's also seen hitting the child with a cooler door and then pauses when other customers walk by. Police say the child belongs to the man's girlfriend.

Cmd. James W. Tolbert, Detroit Police Dept.: "We believe to see him stepping on the child's hand and foot, and mashing the hand and foot of the child as the child sat on the floor, and also him obviously spanking the child."

Police say they arrested the man after relatives saw the video on television news reports. Investigators say the boy is doing OK.
